When it comes to how much Americans will spend on this year's big game, the LA Times notes, according to the American Gaming Association, that $4.2 billion will be dropped on the contest.
The report, per Pregame.com, goes on to say half of adult Americans will have some wager on the contest. Shockingly, the gaming association continued that just 2.8 percent of the total wagered nationwide will be placed in Nevada, meaning most of the betting taking place is illegal.
The Carolina Panthers and Denver Broncos will take the field Sunday, February 7 for a Super Bowl that has much more than a trophy on the line.
