An NFL coach and player were charged with the same crime, yet only one was fired

Talk about a lack of parity.

Minnesota Vikings defensive coordinator George Edwards and guard Isame Faciane were both charged with a DWI, but only Faciane lost his job.

Edwards issued a statement Thursday saying his DWI from May was a "poor decision," and he will not be disciplined by the NFL. Faciane, who was a member of the Vikings' practice squad, was released by the team.

Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer said he's not opposed to bringing Faciane back at some point.
