New York Giants fullback Nikita Whitlock had his home broken into for the second time in six months Tuesday night, but what rattled him most this time is what he found inside.
Whitlock said the burglars not only made off with some jewelry and video games, they also vandalized his walls with racist graffiti, including a swastika, the letters "KKK," and the words, "Go back to Africa."
"It just re-establishes that no matter where you are, no matter who you are, this can happen to you," he told CBS2, adding that he covered the hateful messages to hide them from his 6-year-old son.

Whitlock, who's listed as a fullback but also plays special teams and defense occasionally, said the suspects entered the home through a small window while he was out with his two young children and his wife Ashley, who said the break in has left the couple feeling violated and uncertain about their safety.
"It's very disgusting actually, it's very disheartening," she said. "You hear about things that do happen, but you never think, 'Oh this is going to happen to me.'"
Police were already investigating the first burglary, which happened over Thanksgiving, when this latest incident occurred. Ironically, the couple was already planning to move as a result.
