Analysts can't stop comparing Dak Prescott to NFL legends

Chris Collinsworth may be exaggerating a bit when it comes to this rookie

Each week praise for Dak Prescott continues to mount.

NBC Sunday Night Football commentator Chris Collinsworth became the latest pundit to exalt the rookie quarterback during Dallas 37-17 spanking of Chicago Sunday night, spewing about as much hyperbole in one broadcast as we've heard since opening day about Prescott.

"It's like Tom Brady standing in there," "Look at him, he's like Tom Brady," "Dak Prescott has come in here and played like Roger Staubach," were a few of his utterances. Embellishment aside, Collinsworth's observations carry some weight. Maybe just not the full brunt.

Prescott was, once again, mistake free in connecting on 19-of-24 for 248 yards and 1 touchdown (his first career TD pass), and leading scoring drives on all four of the Cowboys' first half possessions.

He still has a whole lot of catching up to do to reach the level of a Staubach or a Brady, but he's certainly making an impression.
