Cromartie was signed after the Colts lost Pro Bowl corner Vontae Davis until at least October, signing a one-year, $3 million deal.

It appears Cromartie needed the Colts just as much as the Colts needed him as TMZ Sports reports he was facing a possible arrest for unpaid child support. The father of 12 was reportedly delinquent on $4,000 monthly payments, dating back to January. According to New York Post, Cromartie pays an estimated $336,000 a year in child support.

The four-time Pro Bowler was also in the tabloids for reportedly having his mother pay mortgage on a home he bought her since he was out of an NFL job.
