The Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback dropped back on second-and-goal late in the second quarter of Sunday's game. He initially looked to pass but had to take off running as the pocket collapsed around him. Mayfield evaded multiple defenders before leaping into the end zone.
Once the official signaled that the result was a touchdown, Mayfield began pumping his arms back and forth while doing DeVito's "pinched fingers" celebration.

This rushing touchdown gave the Buccaneers a 23-0 lead heading into halftime. Rachaad White then increased the lead to 30-0 with a rushing touchdown late in the third quarter.
DeVito, also known as Tommy Cutlets, brought this celebration to prominence last season as he replaced an injured Daniel Jones. He appeared in nine games and started six. He won three of his starts while throwing eight touchdowns and three interceptions.
When DeVito made big plays and scored touchdowns, he would break out the pinched fingers celebration. This referenced his Italian heritage. According to CBS Sports, this motion is known as ma che vuoi, which translates to "What do you want?"

The celebration was pushed to the side this season as Jones returned to the starting lineup. However, DeVito was recently named the Giants starting quarterback after the NFC East team demoted Jones to third on the depth chart.
The Giants then granted Jones's request to be released. Once he clears waivers on Monday, he is exected to have a large market.
With DeVito leading the way against the Buccaneers on Sunday afternoon and for the rest of the season, the stage was set for the signature celebration's return. However, the fans saw a different quarterback break it out after a leaping touchdown.
