Be wary NFL, the Packers could return two big weapons "next week"

Rodgers would be all smiles if these two targets start making their way back next week. That's trouble for everyone else.

Straight from the horses mouth (the mouth of Aaron Rodgers), the Green Bay Packers could be getting back two of their biggest targets—tight end Jared Cook and Pro Bowl receiver Jordy Nelson—very, very soon.

Cook, who signed with Green Bay in March, has had little time to develop chemistry with Rodgers. The two spent a short amount of time together during OTA's before foot surgery landed Cook on the 'Physically Unable to Perform' list.

Before signing with Green Bay, Cook posted 481 yards and 39 receptions in 2015 with the Rams.

Nelson missed the entire 2015 season after suffering a torn ACL in week two of the 2015 preseason. He hasn't seen significant playing time since the Packers 2014 NCF championship game loss to Seattle, meaning there's a lot more than just rust to knock off.

The earlier Green Bay can get the two back, the better. Unless you're on the other 31 teams.
