Every time it seems like the Chicago Bears are turning around their season, something comes crashing down, and this time its another coach being fired in running backs coach David Walker.

While most coaches this time of year are fired due to results or performance, ESPN's Courtney Cronin reported on Wednesday that the Bears had fired Walker due to his behavior in the workplace. Cronin also reported that the team's human resources department was involved in the team's firing process, which doesn't seem to be the case for most NFL coaches when they part ways with their team.
"A source told ESPN that Walker had previously been reprimanded by Bears HR for his workplace behavior, and a second such instance led to his firing," Cronin wrote.
As if that wasn't bad enough, this isn't the first coach to leave the Bears under odd circumstances this season. Adam Schefter reported earlier this season that Bears human resources investigated defensive coordinator Alan Williams, who proceeded to abruptly resign after meeting with HR. That incident also involved a digital forensic search of Williams' computer, which is reportedly standard operating procedure for the Bears.
Regardless, the fact that two different coaches have left the Bears following incidents involving the team's HR department is concerning. Head coach Matt Eberflus has provided zero details into why either coach parted ways with the team, leaving fans and media alike to wonder what issues are going on internally at Halas Hall.
Cronin added that the instances with Walker and Williams are for unrelated incidents, but the fact that the team has already lost two coaches for apparent reasons off of the football field is a signal that Eberflus and his staff may not have as tight of a grip on the team as they might have hoped heading into the season.
As of now, there are no additional details as to why Walker or Williams have left the team.
