Massive New England Patriots fan Ben Affleck made an appearance during Super Bowl 60 in an unexpected way. He joined multiple sitcom stars for a 1990s-themed Dunkin Donuts commercial.

The 1-minute ad, which spoofed the film "Good Will Hunting," featured Affleck reprising his role from the film. However, he worked at a Dunkin Donuts and used his access to arrange donuts into the Fibonacci Sequence.
This move surprised his boss, Jason Alexander, who previously starred in "Seinfeld." Alexander then proclaimed that he had a genius working for him. His audience featured fellow 90s stars Alfonso Ribeiro ("The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air"), Matt LeBlanc ("Friends"), and Jaleel White ("Family Matters").

"If he's such a genius, then why did he put ice in his coffee?" LeBlanc's character asked while wearing a black and gold windbreaker. The jacket had the outline of the Boston Bruins logo, but black tape covered it to avoid legal issues.
The commercial featured numerous other nods to 90s sitcoms. Affleck first used the famous line from "Friends" and asked a woman "How you doing?" He then yelled "We're on a break!' after being shown a photo of his supposed girlfriend, Jennifer Aniston.
The sitcom references did not end with those quotes. Ted Danson from "Cheers" showed up, wearing a brown wig. Aniston then appeared with her hairstyle from "Friends." She introduced her new boyfriend, former Patriots and Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady.
Bringing in this packed lineup of stars is far from an easy feat, but Dunkin Donuts made it happen in a big spot. The coffee chain tied into the Boston roots and took over the conversation during Super Bowl 60.
Of course, the timing could not have been better for fans of the New England Patriots. It's possible that they needed a distraction from the action on the field.
This commercial aired as the team struggled to move down the field against a stifling Seattle Seahawks defense. Drake Maye threw a touchdown to wide receiver Mack Hollins, but he also tossed two interceptions that led to points.
