Joe Burrow Dupes NFL Fans With Fake Hairdo Picture

The Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow has recently been trending, after a picture with him having long hair hit the internet.

That is to say there was much skepticism regarding if the picture was real or not.

And the results are in... unfortunately, the rumors are false, as Burrow was seen at practice with his normal hair length that he has kept short all offseason. Which fans would know if they just simply checked the pictures he has been posting on Instagram.

In regards to Burrow with the long hair, one of the most common look-alike comparisons drawn was Anakin Skywalker from Star Wars.

With this in mind, this is actually the second time this year that the quarterback has been correlated with a Star Wars reference, as he also included the phrase "return of the jedi" on his Instagram, after speaking about the start of the Bengals offseason in January.

In reference to missing seven games after injuring his right hand vs. the Baltimore Ravens (11/16/23), Burrow told fans, "sorry for the missed time."

The 27-year-old had successful surgery to repair the torn wrist ligament, and seemingly will be 100% healthy heading into next season.

Burrow, who battled injuries all of last year, will look to bounce back. In 10 games during the 2023 season, he threw for 2,309 yards, 15 touchdowns, and six interceptions. To note his 230 passing yards average per game was a career-low, and a passer rating of 91.0, was the lowest since his rookie season (2020).

In light of the well-received feedback on his fake hair, Joe may consider growing it out in time for the 2024 season.
