A day after the infamous Bronco high speed chase through the streets of Los Angeles, NFL star running back O.J. Simpson was given a Bible by his lawyer/friend Robert Kardashian, which he received while behind bars.

And it has been discovered there was a note left for Simpson inside.
With the date listed as June 18, 1994, the message read:
"This book will help. God loves you and He will speak to you with His words. Read this book everyday. God has a delicate plan for your life. You are his child and He will use you again. I love you and God loves you. -Robert."
O.J.'s estate is planning to include the Bible in a proposed auction, which is scheduled to take place between March 12 and March 29, if not objected by Simpson's kids before the February 26 deadline.
Per TMZ, "Among the possible items up for sale... photos of O.J. with political leaders like former President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger, a painting of O.J. produced by Andy Warhol, a Heisman USC poster signed by Simpson, and pictures of Simpson from his big movies like 'The Naked Gun' and 'The Cassandra Crossing.'"
Notably, O.J. and Robert Kardashian first became friends back during the Heisman-winning running back's glory days at USC, and they've long been connected through the 1995 Nicole Brown Simpson/Ron Goldman murder trial.
As many remember Simpson was tried and acquitted, yet was later found liable in civil court.

On Saturday February 22, Robert would have been celebrating his 81st birthday, as he passed away at the age of 59 from cancer in 2003.
O.J. also lost his life to cancer, passing away at the age of 76 in 2024.
