Bill Belichick wasn’t the only coach filming signals, according to this NFL legend

Two-time Super Bowl champion coach Jimmy Johnson admitted to filming signals during his stint with the Dallas Cowboys, NFL Hall of Famer Troy Aikman said.

"He says that we filmed signals when he was coaching in Dallas," Aikman told The Musers on KTCK-AM 1310/KTCK-FM 96.7, per the Dallas Morning News.

Johnson stopped filming signals because he didn't think the information was helping the team in any way, Aikman said.

The six-time Pro-Bowl player and three-time Super Bowl said he didn't know anything about the tapes and admitted he thinks the practice of tapping signals is upsetting and shouldn't be done because it could interfere with a players reputation.

"If stealing a signal made a difference in a play, or a series, or a game, that's affecting player's legacies, it's affecting dynasties," Aikman said.
