Blockbuster trade involving Tony Romo reportedly being discussed at the NFL Combine

HUGE!

An original trade framed around Kirk Cousins to the San Francisco 49ers reportedly may somehow include Tony Romo.

According to a report by Ian Rapoport, the deal would move Cousins to the 49ers, Romo to the in-division Washington Redskins and send draft picks to the Dallas Cowboys.

No word on how far these teams are into negotiations, or if they're truly considering the swap, but this is a stunner for sure.

Romo has played sparingly over the last two seasons, dealing with various back and shoulder issues. Washington should be leery if Dallas is truly willing to move him in-division.

Cousins took over for former top pick Robert Griffin III in Washington and has been hit with the franchise tag in consecutive years. Seen as a franchise quarterback to some, San Francisco is likely ready to pay top prize for Cousins if they land him.
