Breece Hall reacts to Jets teardown and he clearly isn’t thrilled

Jets running back Breece Hall didn't hide his feelings. Shortly after New York shipped out Sauce Gardner to the Colts and Quinnen Williams to the Cowboys on Tuesday, Hall posted on X that while he is "happy" for the teammates who got fresh starts elsewhere, he is "sick" about what's happening with his own team.

Hall has lived in the rumor mill himself. There were rumblings earlier Tuesday he could also be moved — and he's hinted at being open to it — but the Jets held onto him while dealing two of their biggest stars.

So instead of joining contenders, Hall will be sticking around for what looks like a lost season.

The Jets are 1-7. They just punted on 2025. And Hall knows exactly what this looks like.

The 23-year-old has been one of the few bright spots offensively. He's run for 581 yards and two touchdowns on 117 carries, and he should continue to get plenty of work down the stretch because there's not much else here.

As noted by USA Today: "Hall seemed like one of the likelier players to be on the move ahead of the deadline, but he is one of the few who remain. The running back was taken in the 2022 NFL Draft along with Gardner, Garrett Wilson and Jermaine Johnson II. All of those players were viewed as building blocks for a Jets team that was on the upswing."

Yeah, well, so much for that idea.
