While Denver Broncos cornerback Bradley Roby was returning an interception 49 yards to the house, San Diego Chargers running back Melvin Gordon tried to chase down the opponent and got shoved to the sideline, where he collided with defensive coordinator Wade Phillips.

Phillips was reportedly seen moving his fingers on the sideline before he was strapped to a stretcher and taken off the field on a cart.
