Cleveland Browns defensive star Myles Garrett is back in the headlines, and not for the speed he often shows while on the field.

For the eighth time since being drafted No. 1 overall in 2017, Garrett has been cited for speeding. Police clocked Garrett driving 100 miles per hour in a 60 mph zone earlier this month.
It is not the first time Garrett's driving has drawn attention. Three years ago, he flipped a Porsche 911 while swerving to avoid an animal, a crash that was also tied to excessive speed.
Browns coach Kevin Stefanski called the latest incident "extremely disappointing." When Garrett met with reporters on Wednesday, he chose not to address it.
"I'd honestly rather talk about football and this team than anything I'm doing off the field — other than the back-to-school event that I did the other day," Garrett said.
When a reporter pressed that people wanted to know more, Garrett replied, "People want to know a lot of things."
He added, "I try to keep my personal life personal. I'd rather focus on this team when I can."
Garrett was also asked about whether his behavior affects his role as a Browns leader. He again declined.
"You're asking the same question, and I've answered it two different times," Garrett said. "So, I'm going to need you to ask a different question so I can focus on this team and not this headline you're trying to get out of this question that you're asking."
Garrett, 29, signed a four-year, $160 million extension with Cleveland earlier this offseason after previously requesting a trade. On the field, he remains one of the NFL's most dominant pass rushers. Off it, his driving habits continue to create the kind of attention the Browns wish he would avoid.
