Johnny Manziel's first two years in the NFL have been anything other than smooth.
From earning the starting job, heading to rehab after the season, continuing to party throughout the week, and now run-ins with the law, the Cleveland Browns appear fed up with Manziel.
And if there was any question on where the Browns stand with all of this, here's the statement the organization released Tuesday.
"We've been clear about expectations for our players on and off the field. Johnny's continual involvement in incidents that run counter to those expectations undermines the hard work of his teammates and the reputation of our organization. His status with our team will be addressed when permitted by league rules. We will have no further comment at this time."
The Browns can't release Manziel until one day after the Super Bowl. It appears that's where we're headed.
