The vehicle was identified as a Dodge TRX truck and was going 41 miles per hour over the 60 mph zone limit, while traveling northbound Interstate 71 near Cleveland at the time, per FOX 8.

Skip Bayless, who has been a staunch supporter of the Colorado star QB, has come out and expressed his criticism toward the Browns rookie.

"Even I cannot defend Shedeur getting pulled over in Cleveland for doing 101," the TV personality posted on X. "As a 5th-string 5th-rounder battling for a roster spot — a place in the league — you obviously JUST CAN'T...Now, unfortunately, all those critics are going to nod and say, 'Told you so.'"

In view of the next steps, Sanders will likely have to pay a fine ($250) for what is classified a fourth-degree misdemeanor, unless he rather contest the ticket during a scheduled Strongsville Mayor's Court appearance on July 3.

Ultimately, after falling into the fifth round (144th selection) in the 2025 NFL Draft, the former projected first round pick now finds himself in a highly-contested quarterback battle in Cleveland.

With veteran Joe Flacco expected to start the season behind center, Sanders is currently competing with Kenny Pickett and third round draft pick Dillon Gabriel for a backup role.

Not to mention, Deshuan Watson, who is under contract for $230 million, may return somewhere down the line after re-injuring his Achilles tendon last January.

All in all, Sanders will hope to stay out of trouble this offseason, as training camp is set to begin on July 18.
