Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton was hit in the knee during Sunday's game against the Arizona Cardinals, and Newton said after the game his health was in danger.

Newton took several shots to the head earlier in the season against the Denver Broncos, and he said he feels like he's held to a different standard than other star quarterbacks in the league.

During his press conference after the 30-20 win over the Cardinals, Newton said he wanted to discuss his health with Roger Goodell.

Newton scrambles more than most quarterbacks, and he is bigger than most NFL defenders. However, it does seem like he takes more hits in the pocket than most quarterbacks, so this is an interesting situation to monitor moving forward.
