The Seattle Seahawks led the league in scoring defense in 2014-15 and have now done so for three straight seasons. However, Detroit Lions cornerback Darius Slay doesn't see much of a difference between his team's defense and that of the Seahawks.

Regarding the Seahawks, Slay told the Detroit Free Press that the Lions have "the same kind of talent they got. They ain't too much different. They got a pass rush, they've got DBs, we've got DBs. They've got 'backers, we've got 'backers."
Slay also pointed out that Detroit had the league's top defense until late last season, with their last two losses of the year against Green Bay and Dallas. Their defense will also face some changes this year due to the departure of Ndamukong Suh and Nick Fairley.
It is hard to believe that the Lions' defense will not take at least a slight step back this season, despite the confidence of their players.
