The rumors were loud. The confirmation was louder. Cardi B confirmed her split with Stefon Diggs during a concert in Los Angeles on Sunday night, and she made one thing very clear:

Breakup or not, the shots need to stop.
Cardi appeared to be responding to a viral post from fellow rapper BIA, who mocked Diggs by saying the New England Patriots receiver has more baby mamas than receiving yards.
Cardi did not love that.
"Just because I ain't f—ing with my baby daddy doesn't mean you get to talk about my baby daddy," she told the crowd, confirming the breakup while shutting down the disrespect in one breath.
Split rumors have been swirling for weeks. Cardi and Diggs unfollowed each other on Instagram shortly after the Super Bowl, which in celebrity math is rarely nothing. Until now, neither had addressed it publicly. In past rumor cycles, Cardi was quick to wave everything off. This time, she let it stand.

The two went public last May and welcomed a child together in November. Diggs, one of the NFL's most high-profile wideouts, now has six children with multiple women, a fact that's followed him almost as closely as his stat lines.
Still, Cardi's message was not about defending a relationship. It was about boundaries.
You can talk about the breakup. You can speculate. You can gossip.
But once you cross into public pile-on territory, especially when kids are involved, she's not letting it slide.
The relationship may be over. The respect, at least from her end, clearly isn't.
