Carson Palmer has no sympathy for Tom Brady when it comes to DeflateGate

It may be easy to take this stance with Brady sitting at home instead of lighting up the scoreboard.

Arizona Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer is taking a very don't do the crime if you can't do the time approach when it comes to Tom Brady and DeflateGate.

While on a conference call with Patriots reporters, Palmer said he tried to stay away from the news surrounding it (how do you manage that) but that if it's in the rulebook, you had best follow it.

"I go back and you follow what the rule book says and you go about your business and you work, and if they tell you not to do it and then you get busted, and what happens happens, then you suffer the consequences," Palmer said.

When asked if he thought rules were broken, he replied that he didn't know, mostly because he tried not to follow the story.

"As soon as it came on, I just turned it off because I was so sick of hearing about it," he said.

It may or may not be worth noting that Palmer doesn't have to go pass-for-pass with Brady Sunday, as he's serving out his suspension for DeflateGate.

Had Brady won his appeal, maybe Palmer wouldn't have taken such a stance.
