CBS analyst has the most unlikely suggestion for Tom Brady's two-game replacement

How about this for an unlikely addition?

The New England Patriots aren't looking for a 13-game substitution, simply just a fill-in for the next two games until Tom Brady gets back on the field while Jimmy Garoppolo heals from his shoulder injury.

So while discussing the unlikely names to actually take a snap in New England (aside from Johnny Manziel and Tim Tebow), CBS analyst Boomer Esiason (and to an extent Bill Cowher) suggested Peyton Manning come out of retirement to lead the Pats.

You can put this one in the almost certainly not happening category.

It's expected that rookie Jacoby Brissett will hold onto the starting spot on the short week with former Patriot quarterbacks Brian Hoyer and Ryan Mallett elsewhere.

If New England were to sign a quarterback though, we wouldn't be surprised if it were Tim Tebow. He's had experience in New England under that coaching staff and looks to be in incredible shape judging from his baseball workouts. The only question is whether he'd be able to get out of his contract with the New York Mets for a few weeks.
