The Los Angeles Chargers quarterback was spotted on the set of Madison Beer's new music video in Los Angeles, according to the Daily Mail. Photos circulating online showed Herbert, 27, chatting with the popular singer in the Hancock Park neighborhood, where filming was underway. The images quickly went viral, sparking plenty of speculation about whether this was simply a casual visit or the beginning of something more.
Beer, 25, has built a successful career in music and entertainment, with millions of followers across her social media platforms. Herbert, meanwhile, is preparing for his sixth NFL season. Despite piling up impressive statistics and making a Pro Bowl, he has yet to deliver the type of postseason breakthrough the Chargers have been waiting for.
Los Angeles finished 11-6 last season, but once again failed to win a playoff game. Herbert's individual talent is unquestioned — his arm strength and accuracy place him among the league's most gifted passers — but the conversation around him has shifted toward whether he can take that next step as a franchise quarterback.
Off the field, though, Herbert may be entering the same kind of spotlight Buffalo Bills star Josh Allen has embraced. Allen, fresh off an MVP season, married actress and singer Hailee Steinfeld earlier this summer, pairing football fame with Hollywood recognition.
