If you're talking about the Kansas City Chiefs, you have to talk about Taylor Swift. It's the law.
And Swifties will be happy to know that Swift attended the birthday bash celebrating Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes. It took place after the Chiefs' thriller of a 26-25 win over the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday, moving the two-time defending Super Bowl champs to 2-0. Each of Kanas City's victories has come down to the final seconds — with the other being an opening win over the Baltimore Ravens, in which the Chiefs won by a toenail.
Anyway, on to what you're really here for, and that would be more of Swift, the love interest of KC tight end Travis Kelce. Somehow, the celebrity couple is still going strong. Swift and Kelce celebrated Mahomes on his special day.
Per the New York Post, Swift "attended Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes' 29th birthday party after Kansas City's 26-25 win over Cincinnati, as seen in pictures fellow Chiefs WAGs Chariah Gordon and Sheawna Weathersby shared on Instagram.
"Swift, 34, was seen sporting red sunglasses and her signature red lipstick with Gordon, who got engaged to Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman Jr. in June, and Weathersby, the partner of defensive tackle Chris Jones. The photos included the words, 'Happy birthday Patrick,' and 'Twenty-nine.'"
These are things you do when you're rich, famous and young. Actually, you don't need to be rich and famous, but it sure helps when the idea is getting people to give a hoot. For Swift, Kelce, Mahomes and the unbeaten Chiefs, plenty of people do give a hoot. Especially Swift, who became the biggest story at Mahomes' birthday, and that's really saying something.
