Fans Rip Chris Jones For Crying During National Anthem
Some fans' disdain started before the game had even started. During the singing of the National Anthem at Arrowhead Stadium, cameras panned to an emotional Chiefs player, star pass rusher Chris Jones, showing tears streaming down his face during the song.
Fans on social media sounded off about Jones after the fact.
"Chris Jones never stops crying in any scenario," one fan said on X, formerly known as Twitter.
"Why are they showing Chris Jones crying? We already know the script," another user added.
"Was Chris Jones crying again during the national anthem or did CBS just pull that one out of the archives??" another person said.

Josh Allen Gets Honest About This Year's Bills Team
People were not sure what to expect from the Buffalo Bills this season. They fell to the Kansas City Chiefs yet again in last year's playoffs. They also had a lot of big losses during the offseason. But their biggest loss was their star wide receiver Stefon Diggs who they traded to the Houston Texans.
The Bills are rolling to start the season. They are undefeated with a record of 4-0 and Allen is playing like an MVP candidate. Allen attributed the Bills' players not caring about their individual stats, which some perceived as a shot at Diggs.
"That's the beauty of it when guys get to buy into this and really understand like I may not get the ball four or five times thrown to me a game but the one or two times I do, I'm going to have opportunities to be in the end zone," Allen said.
"It's a fun and wonderful thing when you got a bunch of guys that don't care about the stats, they don't care about the touchdowns."
