When you date Taylor Swift and win Super Bowls, there are a lot of other things that can go your way. For Kansas City Chiefs tight Travis Kelce, that's making your feature film debut.

It's true, as Kelce is set for a role in Loose Cannons, an action-comedy that already sounds bad. But hey, he's in the movies and we are not.
The film is being directed by Chad Stahelski of John Wick fame. Not surprisingly, Wick star Keanu Reeves is attached to the film as a co-writer and screenrunner. The news of Kelce in the movie was first reported by The Hollywood Reporter.
"The plot of the film features two cops being forced to become partners after their precincts merge as a result of budget cuts," wrote Chris Bengal of CBS Sports. "The duo ends up taking on lower-profile cases that other cops don't want to tackle.
"In recent years, Kelce has ventured into the entertainment world more frequently. In 2020, the Chiefs star tight end appeared in an episode of Showtime's comedy Moonbase 8, and also hosted an episode of Saturday Night Live in March 2023."
Kelce, a product of Cleveland Heights, Ohio, has truly come a long way and this movie is just another example. But he may be nearing retirement as a player, given that he's entering his 12th NFL season.
"He helped lead the Chiefs to their second consecutive Super Bowl with a win against the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LVIII in February," Bengal wrote. "As his career winds down, Kelce is making more of a jump into the Hollywood scene."
