According to Cleveland.com, the Browns are not actively engaged in trade talks with the San Francisco 49ers for Kaepernick, and they don't anticipate being engaged moving forward,
The same can't be said about former Heisman winner Robert Griffin III, per Browns Executive Vice President of Football Operations Sashi Brown.
"Brown said the Browns are moving forward on possibly signing quarterback Robert Griffin III and that the team is doing its due diligence."
Griffin III has had plenty of issues with injuries, but if he can work his way back, the quarterback's upside could be sky-high.
