San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick has struggled for much of the season, and things don't appear to be turning around.
In the first quarter, backed up inside his own 10-yard line, Kaepernick didn't see Torrey Smith standing alone on one side of the field, and missed the cornerback shift over from covering the other receiver.
Missing reads isn't the right way to turn things around.
