Colorado Coach Deion Sanders Puts Raiders Coach Antonio Pierce on Blast, Urges Team to Draft Sons Shedeur & Shiloh

Deion Sanders Wants Shedeur and Shiloh to Play For the Raiders

Much like football royalty Eli Manning's move to the New York Giants in 2004, Deion Sanders is expected to have a lot of influence in where both his sons, Shiloh and Shedeur will play in the NFL.

A video recently resurfaced of Sanders at an event during last year's Super Bowl weekend in Las Vegas, where Deion employed the Raiders head coach, Antonio Pierce, to draft both Shiloh and Shedeur once they enter the draft.

Colorado Stars Expected to Suit Up for Potential Bowl Game

With several of Colorado's stars, most notably Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter, primed to enter the NFL Draft, many wondered if they would play in a potential bowl game, especially with the NFL Combine approaching.

But Buffaloes' head coach Deion Sanders says his players will finish what they started.

"Our kids are going to play in our bowl game because that's what we signed up to do and we're going to finish," Sanders said. "We're not going to tap out, because that throws off the structure of next season."

Sanders also appeared to put other teams on blast. Noting that their decision not to play NFL-bound players in bowl games is something that has ultimately hurt those same programs later on down the line.

"There's a couple of teams that should take note. They laid an egg in the bowl game and they haven't recovered since," Sanders added.

"We don't plan on doing that. We plan on going out there fighting just like we fought today regardless of where we are."

The Buffaloes have officially been disqualified from College Football Playoff contention. As they await the result of the Big 12 Championship game between Iowa State and Arizona State, it will be interesting to see what their future holds.
