Coming Off Of Zach Wilson's Recent Engagement Announcement, The NFL QB's Ex-GF Announces She Is Marrying His Former BYU Roommate

Denver Broncos quarterback Zach Wilson has had quite the offseason, as he recently proposed to his model girlfriend Nicolette Dellanno, which was seen in their captured pics together while on an Italy vacation.

However, with this in mind, Wilson's ex-girlfriend Abbey Gile may be trying to steal the spotlight as she also just announced her recent engagement. In what is evidently a small world, and coincidental timing, Gile, the BYU QB's ex, reportedly just got engaged with Commanders' wide receiver Dax Milne, who is the former college roommate/teammate of Wilson.

As for Dellanno and Wilson, they were first romantically connected in June of 2022, as the two were seen making a public appearance while attending a New York Yankees game together.

A little while after this time, Wilson's ex, Gile, put the former New York Jets QB front and center of a media storm, by claiming a wild accusation.

She received a lot of backlash for moving on from her high school sweetheart, by dating Wilson's buddy Milne, which resulted in many calling her a "homie hopper."

Gile responded to the fans, by saying, "[Wilson] was sleeping with his mom's best friend... that's the real homie hopper."

This gave a whole new meaning to the BYU "cougars," which is the mascot of Wilson's alma mater, (Brigham Young University).

All of this off-the-field news is coming right as NFL training camp is set to begin next week. The Broncos QB currently finds himself competing with Jarrett Stidham and rookie Bo Nix in hopes of winning the starting quarterback job on the team.

After being the No. 2 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, Wilson has had somewhat of an underwhelming start to his career, putting up 6,293 passing yards, to go with 23 touchdowns and 25 interceptions in 34 games. To point out, his 77.2 passer rating last season, ranked him 32nd out of 35 NFL quarterbacks, who played in 2023.

All in all, Wilson may be distracted from spending too much time with his new fiancée, so it may be hard to focus on football.
