Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker was with U.S. Senator Josh Hawley at a campaign event in Missouri Thursday night, and while on the FOX News broadcasted "The Ingraham Angle" show, he went on to say which president candidate he is voting for and gave his reasoning why.

"I'm supporting the president that's going to be the most pro-life president," Harrison said in the interview with Laura Ingraham. "The [Pro-life] topic is the most crucial topic for me... I want us to be fighting for the most vulnerable, fighting for the unborn, and that's what we should prioritize."
When speaking to the audience, the 29-year-old NFL kicker prefaced, "I think you have to vote for whoever is gonna be the most pro-life and we have to be prayerful men that put God first. I think that's what's going to be best for our country."
Butker previously made headlines when he gave a commencement speech at Benedictine College, as he received much backlash for some accused him of being misogynistic when talking about his wife taking the role of a "homemaker."
"I can tell you that my beautiful wife, Isabelle, would be the first to say that her life truly started when she began living her vocation as a wife and as a mother... and embrace one of the most important titles of all: homemaker."
Important to note, Butker refused to apologize, for he says his comments were misconstrued.
"My whole career, I've talked about how I'm a husband and I'm a father before it comes to me as a kicker, something I've always preached," he said. "But then when I use that to talk about women, I say that they should embrace and love being wives and being mothers over their career, I think then it gets construed that I'm trying to put women down, which I'm not at all."
To point out, Butker also criticized current President Joe Biden during the graduation speech.
"Our own nation is led by a man who publicly and proudly proclaims his Catholic faith, but at the same time is delusional enough to make the Sign of the Cross during a pro- abortion rally. He has been so vocal in his support for the murder of innocent babies that I'm sure to many people it appears that you can be both Catholic and pro-choice."
Despite the scrutiny he has faced, Butker became the highest-paid kicker this offseason when he signed a four-year contract extension worth up to $25.6 million.
So far this season Butker is 12-for-14 on field goal kicks and has contributed a game-winner during a Week 2 win vs. the Cincinnati Bengals.
