Cowboys DB Trevon Diggs confronted a reporter for a tweet he put out about Diggs play:
Diggs: “You don’t know football..You can’t do nothing that I do.”
Reporter: We could talk about it more.
Diggs: “TALK ABOUT DEEZ NUTS.”

Diggs was heard saying, "That's what you took from that? Out of that whole play, that's what you took from that?"
He continued, "You don't know football... You can't do nothing that I do."
The reporter responded, "We can talk about it more, what were you doing then?"
Diggs walked away and said, "We can talk about Deez Nuts."
The person in which Diggs had been engaging with is a reporter by the name of Mike Leslie.
The tweet in which Diggs was mad about showed Leslie questioning the cornerback on his defense during a long catch-and-run by 49ers tight end George Kittle.
Leslie asked, "What is Trevon Diggs doing on this play?"

The play shows Diggs in pursuit of Kittle, before pushing him out of bounds. Leslie might have referenced him on this set of events because he appeared to be jogging a bit, but he was more than likely just making sure Kittle wasn't going to cut back.
That is to say, it wasn't anything too crazy as Diggs' assignment was to cover another receiver anyways.
There were 2 defenders closer to Kittle than Diggs, one who had his hands on him already. Obviously, you have an ax to grind if you're not calling them out and only calling out Diggs who kept his angle incase the other two missed, which they did. https://t.co/e2Hv6LyZGG pic.twitter.com/VlwU4YAQA8

Even if the criticism was unwarranted, it is kind of interesting how Diggs knew about the tweet before heading into the locker room, evidently he checked his phone right after the game.

One fan responded to this whole ordeal by asking in a Reddit post, "What is he [Diggs] gonna do, pretend to tackle him?"
Trevon just came out of the locker room to approach me about this tweet. He said I don’t know football, and I can’t do what he does.
He and I are in agreement about that.
He didn’t offer an answer as to what he was doing on the play, however. https://t.co/WaJJCRkFo5

All in all, it's safe to say the fifth-year cornerback out of Alabama, doesn't like when people tweet about him, and evidently he will find out right away if you do.
In view of the 2x Pro Bowler's career, he has had success in the NFL, as Diggs, 26, led the league with 11 interceptions in 2021, and has 19 since being drafted by the Cowboys.
