Cowboys defense takes major blow after NFL hands down suspension

Bad news for the Cowboys.

With Greg Hardy likely on his way out of Big D, the Dallas Cowboys will be even more shorthanded heading into the 2016 season from a pass-rushing standpoint.

Considered a top-10 talent heading into last year's draft, questions about his off-field issues dropped Randy Gregory into the second round.

Gregory failed a drug test at the NFL combine and failed two more last season before his latest, resulting in a four-game suspension, based on the NFL's drug-testing policy.

Gregory had 11 tackles and no sacks as injuries held him back last season. He'll be even further behind next year after this massive misstep.
