The Dallas Cowboys couldn't stop the Detroit Lions offense as they suffered a 47-9 loss at home Sunday. After getting blown out, cornerback Jourdan Lewis, who is known for his trash talk, reached out to his opponent via social media.

Lions Pro Bowl wideout Amon-Ra St. Brown posted a screenshot of the message on his Instagram story, which showed Lewis calling him a bad word, "you a little b****."

To point out, these two players have previous history, as St. Brown made an appearance on The Pivot podcast during the offseason in which he addressed Lewis' antics.

"Jourdan Lewis, I think is his name, from the Cowboys. I don't talk much, unless someone is going to talk to me. You know I block hard, I do all that. But he was talking crazy. Like some s*** I've never heard before. I'm like yo hold on. I'm gonna have to go hard on this... If I do get a chance to kill em, Imma kill em."
Cowboys CB Jourdan Lewis on his trash talk specifically to Lions WR Amon Ra St. Brown:
"I honestly don't remember. Sometimes I just black out, just go somewhere else with it. But if I said anything disrespectful, I'd probably say it again."

With this in mind, despite the win, St. Brown didn't really have much to show for as was held to four catches and 37 yards. Yet, his mediocre day was salvaged by scoring a touchdown in garbage time.

In view of Lewis' beef with St. Brown and the Lions, he originally is from Detroit and played at Michigan, so he certainly has this game circled on his calendar. Considering this, both of his last two career interceptions are against Jared Goff and the Lions.
Nevertheless, contacting your opponent on Instagram messaging after suffering the team's worst home loss since 1988 may not be a good look.
Undoubtedly, Lewis likes to run his mouth both on and off the field. To point out, just last week he was fined over $11,255 after taunting Steelers wide receiver George Pickens, who was also fined for grabbing Lewis' face mask and throwing him to the ground.
