Cowboys reportedly eyeing date for Tony Romo's return

He suffered two clavicle fractures last season and is currently recovering from a broken bone in his back.

Rookie quarterback Dak Prescott has been about as solid as anyone could have asked him to be in three starts this season.

Despite putting together a 2-1 record, while throwing for 767 yards and one touchdown, the Dallas Cowboys will reportedly look toward Week 8 for veteran Tony Romo's return:

At the very least, Prescott remains a viable option moving forward if Romo goes down again.

In 2013, Romo suffered a season-ending herniated disk. In 2014, he fractured his back. He suffered two clavicle fractures last season and is currently recovering from a broken bone in his back.
