Cowboys Star Trevon Diggs Apologizes To Reporter Following Outburst And Gifts ‘Deez Nuts’

Dallas Cowboys Pro Bowl cornerback Trevon Diggs has seemingly buried the hatchet with WFAA reporter Mike Leslie, and as a way of expressing his apologies, he gifted him some "Deez Nuts" branded snacks.

For those who missed it, Diggs angrily confronted Leslie following Sunday night's 30-24 loss to the 49ers, as the reporter criticized the defensive back's effort on a play in which George Kittle had a big catch-and-run gain.

The player and journalist first got into their beef during the postgame, as Diggs was visibly frustrated with Leslie's comments.

In view of the play in question, it appears that Diggs wasn't jogging, as he was preparing for Kittle to possibly cutback.

And now it seems the reporter has admitted he may have been wrong.

Leslie cleared the air, "What I interpreted as him jogging was in fact him slow-playing a potential cutback from George Kittle."

On Wednesday, the Cowboys player and Leslie met up and each apologized. Even more, the 26-year-old star also gifted him some nuts, and they both were seen smiling.

This was a hilarious gift in response to Diggs' outburst Sunday night in which he was heard saying, "You don't know football, you can't do nothing that I do... Talk about deez nuts!"

Now that they both made peace, Diggs will shift his focus onto next week's matchup.

The Cowboys will play vs. the Atlanta Falcons (5-3) Sunday, November 3 at 1:00 pm ET.
