Former Dallas Cowboy arrested, potentially facing felony charge

This has been a bad few months for former and current Cowboys.

Torrin Tucker is not an immensely familiar name to most fans of the NFL but die-hard Dallas Cowboys fans likely remember his tenure with the team from 2003 to 2005. The now 37-year-old former offensive lineman was a mainstay along the offensive line, making 24 starts over a three-year period, but after that, Tucker was unable to find solid footing elsewhere in the league.

Now, Greg Auman of the Tampa Bay Times brings the word that Tucker was arrested on a felony count of marijuana possession and the incident occurred last week in Tampa.

Tucker was reportedly arrested in 2012 on troubling charges, though it should be noted that a pretrial agreement came together in that particular case.

The Dallas Cowboys family also endured an arrest on Independence Day, as current linebacker Damien Wilson was charged with two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, just months after suffering an eye injury based on being struck with a fired paintball. In the case of Tucker, his current connection to the Cowboys is simply that of a former player but this remains an unfavorable report to be associated with.

At this point, further details are not available concerning the specifics of the charges and Tucker's court information.
