Jones accounted for his third passing touchdown of the season during Sunday's 41-10 dismantling of the Titans. According to the NFL (via Pro Football Talk), he's now the first player in the Super Bowl era to throw at least three touchdown passes and run for at least three touchdowns without committing a single turnover in his team's first three games.

That's not the version of Jones most fans came to know in New York, but in Indianapolis, he's looking every bit the part of a franchise quarterback.

Head coach Shane Steichen raved about Jones' command of the offense, via Joel A. Erickson of the Indianapolis Star, saying that Jones' preparation has been critical.

"You've got a guy that's the signal-caller back there that studies his tail off, looks at tape all day every day, grinding, looking at different things, knowing the checks, understanding what we're trying to get done offensively, getting us in and out of the right plays," Steichen said. "That stuff pays huge dividends in this league. Obviously, this is one of the toughest positions in all of sports to play, and he's doing it right now as good as it gets."

Of course, Jones hasn't been doing it alone. Running back Jonathan Taylor is back to looking like himself, leading the team in rushing yards through three games.

But the real surprise has been Jones' efficiency and playmaking, transforming the Colts' attack into one of the early-season stories in the AFC.

Next up: a home date with the Rams, where Jones will look to prove this hot start is no fluke.
