"I do, yes," he told reporters.
Fair enough. Jones is supposed to think that way. But whether he's supposed to look the way he did when answering ... well, the Internet has left that up for debate.
Jones gained viral attention due to what appeared to be his constantly shifting eyes, sparking speculation about whether it was a unique Zoom setting or a camera trick. The phenomenon captured the curiosity of viewers, leading to widespread discussion and conjecture online. Whether intentional or not, Jones' eye movements became a focal point of intrigue, demonstrating the power of social media to turn seemingly mundane moments into internet sensations.

Jones is recovering from a torn ACL and seems to still be working through it. He may or may not be ready by the time Week 1 arrives. He seems to think he will.
"The plan is to be ready to go by training camp," Jones said. "That's what I'm shooting for, and I feel good about being ready."
Jones underwent surgery on his right knee on November 22 but has since been actively engaged in his recovery process. Despite the setback, he has been diligent in his rehabilitation and has been throwing for a considerable period. Initially starting with stationary throws, Jones has steadily progressed to more dynamic movements, including dropping back and engaging in quarterback-specific drills.
