It finally happened! After weeks of speculation, All-Pro wide receiver Davante Adams was traded to the New York Jets on Monday for a conditional NFL Draft pick.

Davante Adams Sends Message to Raiders
Davante Adams came to the Raiders looking to recreate some of the magic he and quarterback Derek Carr had mastered during their time at California State University. But following Carr's departure, things went from bad to worse and Adams decided he wanted out as well.
After being traded by the Raiders, Adams sent a heartfelt message to the organization.
"To my teammates, coaches and ownership, and staff, you all have taught me countless lessons and I am forever grateful for the resiliency, drive, and unwavering support when I put on the historic shield every Sunday," Adams said. "From Oakland to Las Vegas, Raider Nation has and always will be part of my family."
Robert Saleh Breaks Silence Following Jets Termination
A new era began for the Jets on Monday night. After falling to the Minnesota Vikings in Week 5, New York made the shocking decision to part ways with head coach Robert Saleh, Jeff Ulbrich has taken over as the interim head coach. In addition offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett has also been relieved from his playcalling duties.
Following his departure, Saleh shared a statement reflecting on his tenure as New York's head man.
"To the Jets Organization, I am grateful to have had the opportunity to work with so many incredible people. I will always be appreciative of the love and support from everyone at 1 Jets Drive," Saleh said.
"To all of the players, I truly love and appreciate every single one of you. The character of the men in the locker room made coaching you guys the ultimate privilege. Through all the ups and downs, each and every one of you showed up every day and attacked every moment."
There were also murmurs that Saleh had initially planned to nix Jets offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett of his playcalling duties prior to his abrupt firing. Still, he made sure to pay homage to his coaching staff on the way out.
"To my fellow coaches and staff, it has been an honor to work with all of you," Saleh added. "Every one of you were 'all in' and made sacrifices for one another that will never be forgotten. I wish you all the very best of luck for the remainder of the season.
