DeAngelo Williams has never been afraid to share what is in his head and, this time, he may have taken a shot across the bow at an NFL legend. In speaking with ESPN's Adam Schefter in podcast form, Williams was asked to reflect on his previous sentiment that there are four teams that he would never have any desire to play for in his career.

To be fair, he was defending the New England Patriots in his answer.
"It's kind of one of those things, man. It wasn't the Patriots because there wasn't a lot of hatred there. I was speaking on the side of being right. You look at all of the championship rings that they have. You can't deny the fact that they win."
From there, though, he wasn't done and the disrespect of Brady emerged.
"Whether it's them being in a weak division. Whether it's Tom Brady being a system quarterback. Whatever, the fact is that they continue to win and they win on a consistent basis. I'm in the business of winning."
Woof.
This isn't the first time that Brady's accomplishments have been downplayed based on the "system quarterback" label and that is the nature of the beast with Bill Belichick presiding over everything in Foxboro. Still, Brady is a player that is on a (very) short list of the best signal-callers in league history and this kind of quote won't go over well.
