However, at this point it has been all speculation. That is, coach Prime addressed some questions regarding his future on Tuesday.
"I'm happy where I am, man," Sanders told reporters. "I've got a kickstand down. You know what a kickstand is?... That means I'm resting. I'm good, I'm happy, I'm excited. I'm enthusiastic about where I am. I love it here, truly do."

The NFL hall of famer also pointed out that the reporters shouldn't ask him this in front of his athletic director, Rick George.
"You going to talk like that with my AD in here, that's so disrespectful," Sanders said. "You going to talk about me going somewhere with my AD in here?"
"The NFL needs someone like Deion Sanders, quite honestly. He fits the NFL, it's a matter of whether or not the NFL fits him."

In particular, fans believe Sanders, who is a former Cowboys player, may be a perfect fit in Dallas.
Former teammate of Primetime, Michael Irvin, says that according to his sources, Sanders would in fact welcome a head coaching role in the NFL.
Michael Irvin says "100%" Deion Sanders would accept the Cowboys job if they draft Shedeur Sanders:
"100%. And I can tell you, good sources have told me that. Great sources have told me that."

To mention, Sanders' son Shedeur is set to declare for the 2025 NFL Draft, so there is another reason for coach Prime to make the leap as well.
Even Dallas Cowboys defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer, who had connections working with Sanders at Jackson State, was asked about him potentially taking his talents to the league.
#Cowboys DC Mike Zimmer was reluctant to speak about Deion Sanders’ potential as an NFL head coach. But he said they talk weekly.
“I know he’s told me multiple times that he’s really happy at Colorado,” Zimmer said.

Ultimately, Coach Prime has had success ever since taking the job at Colorado, as he took over a 2-11 team from 2022, and has led the Buffaloes to a 8-2 record this season.
The team is currently ranked first in the Big 12, No. 16 in the country, and have two remaining games left on their schedule vs. Kansas (November 23) and Oklahoma State (November 29).
Prior to Deion Sanders’ arrival in Boulder, the Buffs finished with only one win during the 2022 season.
In less than two years at the helm, Coach Prime now has Colorado at 8-2 and in postseason contention 🔥
