Denver is stuck in talks with Ryan Fitzpatrick over asking price

Maybe the Broncos should just suck it up.

The Denver Broncos have reached out to quarterback free agent Ryan Fitzpatrick according to Adam Schefter. However, the Broncos are unwilling to pay his asking price.

The Broncos also acquired Mark Sanchez so they will monitor Fitzpatrick's offers and status throughout free agency to see if they can nab him at a better price so they aren't stuck with the "Sanchize" as their starter.

The 33-year old Fitzpatrick threw for 3,905 yards with 31 touchdowns and 15 interceptions in 2015, his first season with the New York Jets. The Jets have been in a stalemate with Fitzpatrick and are nowhere close to an agreement, sources told Schefter. That could certainly help the Broncos and the Jets visiting with Robert Griffin III could also mean Fitzpatrick is on the way out.
