Not long after, Smith was ruled out for the rest of the game and made his way back to the locker room. It was later reported that he suffered a concussion from the hard hit.

Eagles Have Been at The Center of Controversy This Season

Its only week three and the Eagles have already been involved in multiple altercations. Last week when the took on the Saints during Monday Night Football An altercation popped off in the first half between Falcons Ray-Ray McCloud and Eagles' C.J. Gardener-Johnson.

The two players had an apparent dispute after a play was blown dead. And that is when Gardener-Johnson ripped out the mouthpiece of Ray-Ray McCloud. That led to the Falcons' defensive back throwing a punch.

However, despite both players being guilty of unsportsmanlike conduct on the play, only McCloud drew a penalty flag on the play.

Altercations aside, things are looking grim for the Eagles even in a winning effort. They already came into the game without one star wide receiver in A.J. Brown and Devonta Smith did not return to the game after the injury. If they are going to be without both receivers moving forward things could get ugly for Philadelphia.
