Did Tom Brady miss a wide-open Rob Gronkowski on Patriots' two-point conversion attempt?

Should Brady have gone to Gronk?

Down two points with the game on the line, the New England Patriots had a shot to tie the contest with 12 seconds left in regulation.

Tom Brady was pressured and ended up throwing a tipped interception to close any hopes of a comeback.

Brady checked down to Julian Edelman on the play, missing the shallow defender that made a play on the ball and helped Denver close out the game.

While it's easy to point the finger and complain about Brady's decision when it appears Rob Gronkowski is open along the back of the end zone, watching the replay shows there's more to the story.

Gronkowski had one defender on his shoulder and at least two shallow defenders in the area. It would have taken a perfectly thrown pass for the two-point conversion.

In real-time, the throw to Edelman was the right read and it's tough to fault Brady for making that throw under pressure.
