A picture made the rounds Monday that claimed to show the Dolphins coach driving by the Bills Mafia's famous Elbo Room hangout after Miami's upset of Buffalo on Sunday. It immediately sparked a fight online — real or A.I.?

McDaniel met with reporters and was asked point-blank if he actually rolled by to gloat.

"That's why I like the good old days," McDaniel said. "The throwbacks of yore, where you could trust the internet and the images because it is pretty detailed — I do live in the area ... but I mean, A.I., right?"

Reporters pushed again, and he leaned even further into the bit.

"What? I mean, I live in that area. A.I. is real. That's all I got for ya."

Then, after a few laughs, he confirmed he still wasn't confirming anything.

"No, for the record, I did not answer it," McDaniel said. "That's the punchline of the humor."

So we might not get the truth. And honestly, that's probably the way he wants it.

Miami is just 2-7 this season, coming off an 8-9 finish in 2024 that snapped back-to-back Wild Card appearances during McDaniel's first two years. Maybe laughter is the best medicine at this point.

But hey, the Dolphins have one win this season that McDaniel and Miami fans should remember for a while.
