DraftKings Has a Taylor Swift Section For Super Bowl Bets

It was widely expected that sportsbooks were going to somehow involve Taylor Swift's name, image and likeness with their Super Bowl prop bets, and DraftKings delivered.

When you click on the Super Bowl matchup, you can find a tab called Super Bowl Specials. Under Super Bowl Specials, scroll down until you see another clickable tab called "For the Swifties." After clicking on the drop-down, you can see an abundance of prop bets named after her songs, with some of them even presenting value to wager on.

For the Swifties

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND - JANUARY 28: Travis Kelce #87 of the Kansas City Chiefs celebrates with Taylor Swift after a 17-10 victory against the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Championship Game at M&T Bank Stadium on January 28, 2024 in Baltimore, Maryland.

Listed below are a few "For the Swifties" bets that are worth a wager.

I Knew You Were Trouble

This prop is centered on superstar running back Christian McCaffrey, who will be the main focal point of the 49ers' offense. This wager needs McCaffrey to combine for 150+ scrimmage yards, a feat that he is more than capable of accomplishing. That's especially true with the 49ers' advantages on the ground, unleashing him against a Chiefs front seven that ranks near dead last in defensive rushing DVOA (defense-adjusted value over average) and EPA (expected points added). Factor in the Chiefs' ability to collapse the pocket, and McCaffrey will find himself in plenty of dump-off situations as well.

Mastermind

This prop also involves McCaffrey as well as the rest of the 49ers' rushers, as San Francisco needs to rush for 200+ yards and win the game. Whether it's McCaffrey or one of the backups, the Niners will be in a good position to exploit a weak Kansas City run-stopping unit, as previously mentioned. San Francisco may opt into the idea of a heavy dose of the run, as that also allows it to dominate time of possession and keep Chiefs signal-caller Patrick Mahomes on the sideline.

Mine

This is one of the better props involving Taylor's boyfriend, Travis Kelce, just needing him to have 87+ receiving yards. Much like the Niners, the Chiefs are better off abusing the run.

Should the 49ers find success early and often, that will take their linebackers' attention off Kelce, which will give him higher-quality receptions as he breaks away from coverage. The Ravens were arguably just as good in coverage as the 49ers, yet Kelce still managed to finish the NFC Championship Game against them with 11 receptions for 116 yards.

Today Was a Fairytale

If the Chiefs are going to beat the 49ers, Kelce and Mahomes will need to find success when in scoring position. That is exactly what you are wagering on to happen with this prop, needing Kelce to score and the Chiefs to win. The 49ers excel in coverage, but Kelce is arguably the best in the league at exploiting gaps in coverage and can play behind the coverage when near the end zone.
