Jerry Jones opened himself up to some harsh backlash after his latest comments.
On Tuesday, following the Dallas Cowboys disappointing playoff loss to the Packers, Jones told 105.3 that he believes Tony Romo's future will include playing in a Super Bowl someday, ignoring the obvious fact that at 36, and soon to be 37, someday is closer to never than anything else.
"I really believe that Tony Romo will play in a Super Bowl," Jones said. "Now try that one on. I know if he's healthy enough, he'll be in a Super Bowl. I strongly believe that."

EA Sports then jumped in with an opportunistic swipe at Jones's remarks, alerting him of their own belief that Romo's best chance of ever playing in a Super Bowl would be in its Madden 17 video game.
Ouch. Tony took a bit of shrapnel there.
