A key piece of the Philadelphia Eagles defense has an opportunity to get back into the lineup for the biggest game of the season. The NFC champions have opened the practice window for Brandon Graham.

Graham returned to practice on Thursday and was limited in his return to action. The Super Bowl-winning defender has been on Injured Reserve with a torn triceps suffered against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 12.
When the Eagles placed the veteran on Injured Reserve, the expectation was that he would be done for the season and would potentially retire. However, he now has an opportunity to get back onto the field for the Big Game on Sunday, Feb. 9.
"We'll see. Tomorrow, I'll go meet up and we'll see if it's a possibility," Graham said about a potential return after the Eagles defeated the Commanders in the NFC Championship, per the team website. "I've been working man, but we will see.
"At the end of the day, I'm just happy we got there. Those boys scored 55 today (Graham's jersey number) - that's what's up - so, that might be telling me something."
Graham returning to practice is a step in the right direction for the veteran defender and the Eagles. Now he has to show that he is fully recovered in time for the battle with the AFC Champion Chiefs.
If activated from Injured Reserve, Graham has an opportunity to contribute in a significant way once again. He was a key part of the defense that defeated the Patriots in Super Bowl 52.
Graham posted two tackles and a sack against the Patriots. He also forced a fumble by quarterback Tom Brady with 2:16 remaining in the game. Derek Barnett recovered the ball as the Eagles tried to protect a 38-33 lead.
The offense took over at a pivotal point of the game. The unit did not score a touchdown, but kicker Jake Elliott extended the lead to 41-33 with a successful field goal. This was the final score.
